The one thing I always make sure I do with someone visiting Denver, is to walk 16th St. to Union Station, then head over the Millennium Bridge to Confluence Park. It's the best way to take in Denver.
You can also continue on over the Highland Bridge into Lower Highland. Lower Highland is one of Denver's best known neighborhoods, with tons of dining and nightlife options.
