What is the weather like? What gear should we bring?
Range View Lodge is located in an arid mountain desert climate and the daily temperatures are usually moderate and the nights are cooler. We suggest you can wear layered clothing to more easily adjust to varying temperatures and conditions. Bring rain gear, fishing gear (you will need a fishing license), hats and sunglasses and of course sunscreen, bug spray and bear spray. Comfortable footwear for walking and hiking is also good and walking poles can assist you to walk over uneven or steeper terrain. A pair of light gloves may come in handy even in the warmer months.
