The historic City of Cripple Creek is the Statutory City that is the county seat of Teller County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 1,155 at the 2020 United States Census. Cripple Creek is a former gold mining camp located 20 miles southwest of Colorado Springs near the base of Pikes Peak.
Visits to the Cripple Creek Heritage Center, the Cripple Creek District Museum or the Old Homestead House Museum are also worthwhile ventures into the town's colorful past. There's additionally a Historical Trolley Tour of Gold Camp for an excellent overview of the town's historic sites.

The area is located 4.2 miles east of Woodland Park on Rampart Range Road, FDR 300. Campground is open. Motorized boating will be allowed beginning 05/22. Motorized boat inspections and launching Thursdays-Sundays. The Reservoir is stocked with fish by the Colorado Division of Wildlfe. A valid Colorado fishing license is required as well as following the State of Colorado fishing regulations. Rampart Range Recreation Area (RRRA) is a unique setting for off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts to enjoy a variety of riding experiences. From the novice to the expert riders, ATV or motorcycle, the Rampart has something for everyone. There are 45 dispersed campsites available at RRRA.
