McPherson is 2.3mi from the house and off N. Main Street downtown. Recently renovated, it has a free 18 hole putt putt! Just bring balls and putters. Feel free to ask to borrow ours if you need some!

Unity Park is a downtown greenspace that was completed in 2022 and is just 2.7mi from the house. The Swamp Rabbit Trail winds along the river through this park. Also some great restaurants, basketball courts, and splashpad are here.

A great way to access the Swamp Rabbit trail by by foot or car is to head up the hill from the house and go toward the zoo (you’ll want to put in G00gle Maps for walking directions). This will take you on sidewalks through older neighborhoods right to Cleveland Park and the zoo. The zoo is just 1 mi from the house and the Swamp Rabbit Trail (which can take you to downtown, which is 1.5 miles from the zoo) runs in front of the zoo.
