Sandy beaches in the area
Beautiful sandy beach with shallow water. Great place for a day visit with a long boardwalk and a trail to hike. Because it is one of the few sandy beaches in the area it gets very busy. Get there early! Once the parking lot is full you cannot get to the beach. There is paid parking. Only 10 min drive from cottage or 40 min bike ride.

You need to book this well in advance. I suggest you pick a time you want to go during your stay and book a three hour window. It gets very busy here during the summer but it is worth the crowds. Lovely hike to overhanging rock and rock.

I love this place. They have a huge patio which welcomes dogs. The food is delicious and the service fantastic. And no I don't work there or get paid for advertising - that's how good it is.

Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner! There is a patio right on the harbour and a diverse menu. Family run business and has been around for years in Tobermory. If you are lucky you will see the Chi Chi Man ferry pull into the harbour while having your meal.
