The Moonshine Trail system, est. 2017, is owned and managed by Lula Lake Land Trust. This trail system made the final connection between Cloudland Canyon State Park and downtown Chattanooga via trail. These dog-friendly trails are open to hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers.
The 4.1 mile Chattanooga Connector Trail runs through the heart of the Moonshine Trails and is rated moderate. It connects Lula Lake Rd to Lookout Mountain Parkway.
Moonshine Trails are open daily. No permit or reservation required.
Parking for the Moonshine trails is permitted at Rock Creek Fellowship on Lula Lake Road (except for Sunday and Wednesday morning service 9:00-11:30AM ET) and the trailhead pull off on Scenic Highway (HWY 189).
