Breakfast from Panella bakery (Via Merulana 54). A few steps from the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and from our B&B, Panella is one of the most famous places in the city, especially for its coffee and bread! Refined and high quality products! There is a huge variety of desserts, from cakes to croissants, to the typical Italian pastries. I love their Espresso, a real cream. If you are looking for something special, check out the Espresso flavored pistachio or l hazelnut. Another typical thing about this place is the "Cappuccino Carbonari", very strong!

After the tour at Vatican Museum, there's a place nearby that I would advise where I love to go often. It's called La Zanzara (The Mosquito), via Crescenzio 84. It is not a tourist l place, it is frequented by Italians. They make great cocktails, the kitchen is roman and international.
