Nice affordable Italian restaurant with a motivated team and outdoor seating and run by a yoga practitioner. The service can be a little disorganised during peak hours but the affordable prices and good food make it worthwhile.

Cute produce market but be very careful of the unusually-high prices.

Beautiful cathedral where many Monaco monarchs were buried. Make sure you are dressed in pants to be allowed to enter the space.

Maybe Monaco's most iconic building documenting the city state's contributions to early oceanography through the adoption of the latest technologies of that time and the financing of expeditions. You will find enjoy the aquariums in the lower floors but what might leave a stronger mark on you may be the views and the late 19th century atmosphere in the upper floors.

Don't forget to take a picture next to the iconic yellow submarine right outside the oceanographic museum!

It's not my thing but if you enjoy casinos or watching people showing off their cars then that's probably the best place to do that on the Cote d'Azur. There's a dress-code to go in :)

Monaco is not France!

While it is accessible without any border checks by car or train, Monaco has their own police, regulations, etc. Consider carrying ID with you.

Consider dressing well.

Every city has restaurants and venues where you need to be dressed chic. Monaco just has more of those than your typical city. If you're interested to enter the casino or the cathedral for example you need to be properly dressed (no shorts allowed). Yes, this could get uncomfortable on very warm days!
