Tyresö Palace is a stately home belonging to the Nordic Museum. It is in a beautiful location, surrounded by a garden and an English park, at the highest point of a peninsula jutting into the Kalvfjärden fjord. The palace was built in the 1630s but visitors today see what it looked like as a private residence around 1900.

Tyresta National Park and nature reserve is one of the largest untouched sections of forest in Sweden outside of the alpine world. The area has one of the finest primeval forests south of the mountainous region.
A large part of the national park consists of forests in a variegated rift valley landscape. Pines are the predominant tree species up on the rocky ground, and in the more fertile valleys spruce are more prevalent.

The local beach was newly renovated and is a perfect place to bring your kids. A new playground has been arranged and stands ready with slides, swings and other fun!
