Ukuzulazula
You can walk everywhere in St Andrews
There are 3 main streets - South Street, Market Street & North Street. Plus The Scores which runs parallel to the sea.
They are connected via lots of little lanes - some no more than passages. Have a wander around - you'll see the real, old St Andrews.

Walk around and discover the beaches & historic sites
There are 2 main beaches - East Sands which is quite small and next to the pier and harbour; and West Sands which is huge - several miles long and famously featured in the film, Chariot of Fire.
Historic sites are to be seen everywhere - the cathedral, the castle, the pier and harbour, the ancient university buildings....

Always Book - and as early as possible!
St Andrews is popular, and small so it's always busy....
Whether it's mid winter or the height of summer you'll always need to book a restaurant in advance!

Bring comfortable shoes
Cobbles and stilettos don't go together. You'll be discovering St Andrews on foot so bring suitable shoes and check the weather forecast - you'll maybe need an extra jumper or raincoat. The wind can be quite fearsome!
