Excellent ski hill under 1 hour outside of Butte. The views of Georgetown Lake and surrounding mountains from the hill are breathtaking! This hill is a hidden gem in Montana with lift ticket rates that are much lower than more popular ski hills like Big Sky and Whitefish Mountain. Stop in at The Gables in Georgetown 5 minutes off the mountain for a cold beer and some great bar food. Definitely order the buffalo chips as a side or starter. Great burgers and chicken. Careful, because they don't call it "the trap" for no reason.
