Good local Tex mex very close to the guest house location. Local neighborhood vibe with a good selection of margaritas. Great if you don't want to have to wait for a table, make reservations and want to stay local.

Very authentic Tex Mex food just a few blocks from the guest house and family owned, no sit down area, just ordering counter - has a "hole in the wall" ambiance but well worth a visit. This is a take out spot for those looking for a truly authentic, no frills, amazing homemade tortillas, good tacos (especially for breakfast), barbacoa, carne guisada plate, menudo and a selection of things I am not brave enough to try. They also have a good selection of Mexican sodas and drinks.
It is helpful if you can order in Spanish.

We love this place for Sunday brunch. Great selection of locally brewed beer and a nice Sunday brunch menu. They also serve food during the week but it is a limited menu. Well worth a trip - get a beer flight so that you can sample several.
