Food scene
Renowned throughout the area for our delicious food - whether it is breakfast, lunch, supper or just coffee and cake.
One of our favourite lunch spots, always incredible food plus they have a lovely little shop too. On a sunny day it’s beautiful to eat outside with views across the Cromarty Firth and try to spot some seals.

When in Cromarty, we always get a takeaway from Sutors. On a nice day it’s lovely to sit on the beach while watching out for dolphins!

The Clootie Well
Just by the village of Munlochy you’ll find The Clootie Well - hanging a cloot (cloth) on a tree here to rot is in the hope that pain, suffering or sickness will pass as it rots away. Look for the green Forestry Commission sign for the "Clootie Well" off the A832 to a small free parking loop. The short path to the Clootie Well is marked with a post, and there is a small interpretive board that provides some context and background.

Chanonary Point
Our Moray Firth dolphins are most commonly spotted on Rosemarkie Beach with the most popular spot being Chanonary Point. Check in with the tide times before you head there for the best chance to spot them!
