Great hikes in Boulder
Starting out in “mom mode” here: be bear aware, wear sunscreen, and remember to hydrate hydrate hydrate esp if you’re not used to our altitude! We have some water bottles you can use in the cupboard. And a great rule of thumb is to hike in the morning, so you miss afternoon showers with attendant ⚡️
A previous guest mentioned that “a Boulder trail moderate isn’t flatland moderate!” So we are dutifully passing that along for your consideration :) Hiking books on entry table describe the hikes.

This park has some gentle / flatter trails if you’re not wanting to have too much altitude gain. Stunning views & a must-see destination for rock-climbers. Also love the hike (Rattlesnake Gulch) that includes the ruins of the Crags Hotel & continental divide vista.
