Sightseeing
This beach is only a 25 min walk or 8 min car ride from our cabin. The is a lovely big beach with smaller pebbles and a gradual entrance to the water. There is a public footpath just past the private tennis courts. Very easy access.

Tunstall Bay
On the west side of the island . Boat launch available.
1.5 hour hike around the lake. Part of Crippen Regional Park. Picnic tables and outhouses available.

This is a moderate to difficult hike which takes 4-5 hours round trip. When you get to the top there is a 360 degree view of Vancouver to the Sunshine Coast on a clear day. Well worth the effort but bring lots of water.

The cutest little marina and Main Street of Bowen Island where the ferry will dock. You will find restaurants , coffee shops and boutiques . There's even a library, general store and postoffice
