Sightseeing

With crystal clear blue waters, soft sand, caves, jetty ruins and the timber remains of 'The Star of Greece' 1988 shipwreck, Port Willunga is arguable one of Australia's most famous beaches. And if you make it until sunset, you will understand why it's one of the most photographed too. If nature walks are more your scene, take a walk through the sand dune along the Willunga Creek line to the heritage listed ruins adjacent Bowering Hill Road, admiring the wildlife along the way. And If kicking back with a coffee or wine and taking it all in is more your style, The Star of Greece Restaurant and Kiosk (Weather permitting) is conveniently perched on the cliff tops with uninterrupted views. Be sure to book ahead if you plan to indulge at the Star of Greece Restaurant during the summer months. Port Willunga Beach has something for everyone, is a gorgeous unspoilt holiday destination and a must see during your stay.

Star of Greece kiosk is set on the side of the Restuarant and warmly welcomes you as you are straight off the beach, they offer light breakfast and lunch options and even a glass (or two) of champagne if your heart desires.
