The Hugin Viking ship stands on the cliff top in our village of Cliffsend. It commemorates the first landings of the vikings to the area.
There is also a little cafe for your refreshments.

Canterbury is a 20 minute drive from our home or a 45 minute ride on the bus. The Cathedral is a must but it can be pricey to get in. Canterbury's cobbled streets are a joy to walk around & admire the buildings or to go from shop to shop for your shopping delights. Canterbury has a very wide range of eating establishments for every bodies palette.
