It´s acrossed the street and very casual. I have been a regular there for 25 years. The food is turkish, OK but not gourmet. I like the mediterranian and the mexicana pizza.

Also very special in Oslo is Lille Herbern, a resturant on a tiny island. http://www.lilleherbern.no/
They take you over on a tiny boat every 15 minutes or so. You need to go to Bygdøy to get there, by bus 30 or by bike. AND i reccomend a visit to the opera. Take a walk on the roof. Lovely views.

I like it because they sell clothes I like, and itś not a chain.
It is quite expencive though. But sometimes they have a good sale.

If you want a more sofisticated and bidder store; go to MENY ; continue up Thorvald Meyers gate, cross the street witht the trafic lights, and there in the Rignes Park building at the far end before the movietheatre you´ll find the store. OK place for fish.
