You can also walk from here. An alternative if you choose to walk is bus 12 to stop "Montana" and follow the signs. For bus routes use Skyss.no.
In 2018 they also made a path with stairs all the way to the top- easily reached from Montana

People do not like that you go down the same way because it is quite narrow, but it is possible. Best to continue to mount Fløyen or to follow signs to "Skredderdalen" to walk down. From the top of Stoltzekleiven continue straight ahead until you come to a lake. Then go right and follow the signs.
