Great store for high quality farm fresh products. If you are after a special treat to cook for yourself this is the place to buy your produce. Not cheap though.

Food Scene
Great little pub with open fires in both rooms. Food is home cooked, good quality and well portioned. The Bulls Head has been in Ashford-in-the-water for hundreds of years. Well worth a visit - very cosy. Food stops being served at around 8.30/9.00pm.

For a pub a little further afield the Peacock is a chain bar but I really like it. Its on the way from the peak district to Sheffield of the A621.

A good taxi service operating from Bakewell. I tend to use these guys to get to bakewell and back. If two or more people are travelling a taxi can be as cheap as the bus at around £4-£5 per oneway trip. Call 07866 661 188.
