Lovely walks and trails around the lakes
The balancing lakes provide a lovely place to walk or ride. They were built to avoid flood damage that would have been inevitable with so many many new homes being built in Milton Keynes. Loughton used to flood regularly when I first moved to the village - a thing of the past since these lakes were created.
