Stunning views from your table. Excellent food and service. A bit pricey - but worth it to just relax enjoy and watch a sunset from your dining table. Menu changes - select what suits your fancy - ask what fresh fish they are offering.
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, quite nice.

Such fun for kids and us grown kids too. Very informative and interactive for all who attend. The displays throughout the Aquarium buildings are well done, and fascinating. Plan several hours to enjoy.

Ever hear the term? " I survived the road to Hana" ? It is much improved over the years since I first went there in 1975. Take your time - enjoy the sights. (Check the weather first - if too rainy road subject to closure, but if normal rain, the waterfalls along the road are running good.) Many pull outs, and vistas. There is a "Road to Hana" CD in the condo - very informative - I used it this May 2016.
Watch Chanel 7 in the condo - many great ideas for you!!!
Just remember to relax too! :-)

This is one of the last long beaches in Hawaii that does not have development along the beach. Hope to keep it that way.
This is an open ocean beach - please take heed of the weather and ocean conditions prior to entering the water. I am told there is a lifeguard there on duty. There is a not so well kept secret about "little beach" right over the rocks to the right.... welllll.... little means just that..clothing optional.

The sunrise or sunset is breathtaking from your 10 thousand + vantage point. (Remember it can get cold - and yes - even snow)
I have enjoyed the bike ride down Haleakala several times - that is when you could ride from the top to Piea. Take your car up - for the sunrise - give your self ample time 3 hours or so before sunrise. Okay sometimes the view will be obstructed by clouds, either am or pm. But if you get the full view - it does take your breath away. I was once there for a sunrise & full moon set - over the West Maui's!!! AMAZING..
