Different from Kuta; Seminyak; Canggu and other parts of Bali, Sanur is generally more expensive than Kuta but cheaper than Seminyak. Sanur which used to be not too much competition in the "development of trade and tourism" is now starting to open and follow the trends of the times so that Sanur which was once mostly favored by older people, especially from Europe, is now beginning to attract the attention of young people from all over the country.
However, Sanur is still a relaxed and quiet place so it is a comfortable destination to relax.

Culture and menstruation
In Hinduism, menstruating women are traditionally advised rules to follow. During menstruation, women are advised not to enter the temple and so on.
Menstruation is seen as a period of purification, and women are often separated from places of worship or any object pertaining to it, for the length of their period. This forms the basis of most cultural practices and restrictions around menstruation in Hinduism.
Different cultures view menstruation in different ways, therefore if you are menstruating and you would like to visit a temple or sacred place, you'll not be able to enter it.
