This cathedral has become home to the Santo António’s weddings: Traditionally, multiple weddings are financed by the county and several partners during the Saint Anthony’s celebrations (the saint of marriage who is said to have been baptized here and was born just across from it), to give couples without financial means to get married the chance to wed and go on a honeymoon!
