We have lots of place to eat in Fort William from restaurants and pubs to takeaways, which cover a range of tastes and budgets. The places mentioned below are not exhaustive but rather where we like to eat
Fort William is a popular destination so if you are keen to eat in a particular restaurant then we recommend that you book in advance. Please note that as a nation Scots eat early so the majority of restaurants have last orders at 9 pm!
Serving food until 11 pm or later are: The Great Glen, Spiced Tandoori, Abi's Kebabs, The New Highland Star as well as other takeaways on the high street.

Walks Around Fort William
These are some of the walks which we enjoy going on.
The website Walkhighlands also has a number of walks around this area with more details regarding teraine etc.
Please use your judgement on weather and conditions. Also suitable clothing is your responsibility.
We absolutely love walking through Steall Gorge at the top of Glen Nevis to the meadow with the stunning waterfall at the end of it.
This is a great walk as you can make it as long or short as you need it to be.
The rope bridge at the end also provides a fun challenge!

The Caledonian Canal is a great place to walk you can make these walks as long or as short as you wish. You can also do a 2 mile circuit from Banavie to the Corpach Basin and back.

This is a lovely circular walk. For part of it you walk on the old railway line. There are information boards scattered along the route. Beautiful views of the grey corries.
