Food Scene

A list of restaurants around Corfu that I recommend visiting.
"Archontariki" offers a good selection of traditional, delicious cuisine cooked by owners mother "Spiridoula". Vaggelis, "Archontariki" owner is a friend of ours and you can have you daily lunch-dinners delivered to the villa! You are encouraged to try the traditional "Sofrito"!

You can find lots of suggestions in google or tripadvisor as there are literally countless places to swim for all types such as mainstream with easy access to restaurants and local shops but possibly crowded during high season with difficult parking some more remote for the explore oriented.

One of the longest sandy beaches in corfu. Not as popular i.e. it has minimal development. This is mainly due to the neighboring lake that is a natura protected area. Worth staying for the sunset and watch the humingbirds flying around! Also this beach is the kite surfers mecca of Corfu.

Another mainstream beach. It is not sandy but rather small white pebles which give the water a distinctive colour. Again you get access to all the usual mainstream beach ammenities.

Beautiful slice of land that connects a small peninsula to the main land. At that stip there are two amazing beaches, one next to another, one sandy another with rocks... Clean water on both of them, beautiful blue colors of the sea, calmness. There is a small village called Afionas with an amazing taverna that has spectacular views and very friendly service.
