Kingley Vale Trail - South Downs National Park
The Kingley Vale Trail is a 8.2-km circular trail near Stoughton, West Sussex through the beautiful Kingley Vale Nature Reserve. To do the entire route is approximately 2 h 45 min to complete, but there are some shorter walks that you can do if you would like. Kingley Vale is known for its twisted and ancient yew trees and includes a grove of veteran trees which are among the oldest living things in Britain.
Offering wonderful views of Chichester harbour and the South Downs beyond, the natural and unspoiled sandy beach of West Wittering has been a favourite destination for a family day out for generations. The highest water quality and excellent facilities have made it one of the premier Blue Flag beaches in the country.
