Pretty good Latin food, on the second floor of the City Place Plaza mall. They have great music, a good Happy Hour menu, good drinks and service. It's known for the mojitos but they also have other fun drinks. I haven't seen it myself, but I hear that on weekends, they open up a dance floor for Latin dancing. I hear the scene is good. I've only been there during the day time. Nice outdoorsy hang out. Good scene if you sit outside to people watch.

An absolute favorite. Not only is it beautiful, but it has amazing desserts, drinks and great food. Service is top-notch. I highly recommend it. One of my favorite coffee shops in the whole world! Oh! Just get there before 5pm. They tend to close early.

A very nice and informal Italian joint. They have amazing gelato, and really good Italian traditional treats such as pizza, great mozarella, and other authentic italian treats. They also have outdoor table seating at the plaza, near the band stand. Great spot to just spend a couple of hours with a favorite person, or on your own, people watch and enjoy great food and service. I highly recommend it.

How can there be Palm Beach and no Capital Grille? I was delighted to find it. If you love this restaurant, you'll be thrilled to know we have one here. It's up in Palm Beach Gardens, but only 20 minutes north, by car. Worth the visit, and the atmosphere is a lot more relaxed than the other Capital Grilles I've visited (NYC and DC). Enjoy the no-stress feel with a view of palm trees and blue skies. Totally worth it. And yes, they have outdoor seating, as well as free valet parking. Across the Gardens Mall.

Drinks & Nightlife
Clematis street is where the nightlife of West Palm Beach happens. It has bars, lounges, dance clubs, and many restaurants, the majority with sidewalk access. Great for weekend night hanging out. Also, on Thursday nights and special nights, there are events at the Park on Flagler Drive, where Clematis street faces the water. It's a fun area to just be or walk around with your friends.

Day or night, if you have the budget for it, get yourself to The Breakers and head to their lounge or bar with a view of the ocean and treat yourself to a cocktail there. There's a $30 valet parking fee at this gorgeous hotel, but if you spend $30 (food/drinks), the valet is complimentary. On weekends they have great brunch by the beach.

Parks & Nature
Go see the sunrise. Many people do. Since we're facing the east coast, it's quite an event to watch. Get out there while it's still dark, check the sunrise time with Google, since it varies, depending on the time of the year. Drive all the way east, down Okeechobee Blvd. 'till the end, cross the bridge into Palm Beach island, and go all the way, make a right and park there. On Ocean Blvd you will pay ($5 pr hour, after 8am, I believe). On the side streets you can get one free hour. Since you're there for the sunrise, parking is free. So, grab a cup of your favorite drink, bring a breakfast snack, a towel to sit on, and watch Mother Nature put on her daily show. You'll be transformed.

Arts & Culture
One of my favorite stops. It's currently undergoing expansion and renovation, yet it's still open to the public, and admission is free during the construction. It has a nice collection. It promises to be much larger and iconic once it fully re-opens on Dec 2018. The Norton has a modern feel, yet they have a nice collection of European classic art, as well as modern post impressionist works. The center garden is a wonderful place to just be and take-in the Florida landscape, among statues and lush greens.

A lovely spot. $12 admission, filled with history of our beautiful West Palm Beach. Make sure to walk around its grounds for the iconic views, and don't forget to check out the gorgeous gigantic tree nearby. You will feel dwarfed standing by its roots.

Shopping
You can go have fun at our well known malls such as Wellington Green or Palm Beach Gardens (my personal favorite), but what many of you ask me for, whenever you want to go shopping, is "where are the outlets?"
We have a HUGE mall of outlets of most well-known stores: (Saks, Nordstrom), to tons of specialty stores (Nike, Adidas, Aldo, Bed Bath & Beyond), to the well-known discount outlets: Ross, Marshall's, as well as great food stops, including, of course, Starbucks and Whole Foods.
So, go! Shop to your heart's content there, and make sure to go to Ross. It's quite a little adventure to go there. They prices are impressive, for brand name items. Average hours are 10-9pm.

OK. If you like to shop on Rodeo Drive, 5th Avenue, Madison Avenue, then this is your spot. But even if you're not, go at least window shoppping. If not for the stores, go for the scenery. It's truly a beautiful place to visit and sight-see. Find your way to the local Starbucks, inside the mall on Worth Ave., grab a cup of your favorite potion, and keep walking down Worth Avenue; enjoy sightseeing (and if you have the budget, shop) along the many boutiques. Make sure to walk behind the shops & discover the gardens and outdoor cafes. Don't miss the Chanel boutique and Tiffany's store across.

I'm not, and never was, a mall-brat, but this is one worthy spot to go and visit. It's a first class mall, with classic favorite stores ranging from Macy's to Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom's, Tiffany's Chanel, Banana Republic, Williams Sonoma, Brooks Brothers, a great food court, and plenty of other restaurants, (Brio, PF Chang's). They even have valet parking. Around it there's also a Whole Foods and even a Capital Grille and Barnes and Noble across the street. A great place to spend the day.

Everything Else
When I just want to take a break and have fun, (I'm no longer a late-nighter), I go to City Place. Of course, if you're in the mood to catch a good flick, on IMAX, the Muvico on City Place is the way to go. They have tons of available parking in the building lots nearby. During the week your first hour is free. It's a must visit when in Palm Beach.
