There are bus stops very close to here - the 98 and 99 go to Hastings town centre (get the bus on the house side of the road - going East) or to Bexhill and even Eastbourne (beach side of the road). They are usually every 15 minutes. Walk to Warrior Square on the seafront and the choice is much greater.

I'd get the train to Rye unless you like to take a slow and scenic route, then the 100 bus will take you to Rye and onward to Dover if you like!
