A five-minute walk up the road, it has a June to September weekly programme of outdoor theatre events. And you can pre-book a veggie curry to eat pre-show or during the interval. Great fun.

Even if you don't see a show here, the theatre itself, built to nestle in the cliff, and the spectacular views of the nearby beaches and cliffs are definitely worth the trip.

Despite its obvious touristy draw, Mousehole is still a lovely village especially in the spring. Park your car just outside and walk around the village streets and harbour. There are lots of hidden surprises and delights if you have time to take them in. A lovely pub (the Ship) and a fantastic restaurant with lovely views at The Old Coastguard Hotel will make a day complete.

It's a beautiful unspoilt remote village on the stunning north coast. The church is beautiful, the pub is adorable, and the coast is a little walk away. The whole north coast is wonderful, between Morvah and St Ives. See it if you can by bus or car.

Parks & Nature
Head out towards Porthcurno, and turn off at Logan Rock, park in the car park and head out towards Treen cliff where you can turn east (to take you to sleepy Penberth where much of Poldark was filmed - wear sturdy boots - it descends steeply) or west towards Porthcurno and beautiful Pedn-an-vounder beaches (the latter is nudist). Go down to the beach or just find a spot to picnic on the cliff in the sun. Breathtaking.
