Parks & Nature

Named "top park in the entire world" by TripAdvisor in 2014, Stanley Park is must see when visiting Vancouver. The 405-hectare public park borders the downtown of Vancouver and is almost entirely surrounded by waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay. The park was originally used by indigenous peoples for thousands of years before British Columbia was colonized by the British during the 1858 Fraser Canyon Gold Rush. The park contains a polar bear exhibit, aquarium, and miniature train.

A little off the beaten path, the heritage building along with its creative west coast interior revamp makes Belgard Kitchen an enjoyable space to hang out in. Truly the best spot in Railtown! Plus, there are a large selection of artisan brewed beer and wine on tap to choose from. The dinner menu also offers quite a few options for vegans.
