Our favorite mountain lake. We have enjoyed sailing on this lake for many summers. Live music on many of the weekends in the summer. Nice resort and restaurant and bar.

Sightseeing
The Wimer Covered Bridge is located where covered bridge road crosses Evans Creek in Wimer. It is not showing up on the map, but it is located just a few miles from our house. The map is incorrect showing the McKee Covered Bridge in Jacksonville and it changes the title to match it. For some reason, it won't show the Wimer Covered Bridge. The Wimer market and gas station are just across the bridge and they have fantastic burgers and salads and a nice outdoor eating area by the creek.
