Because you can fish off the community pier, or walk along the boardwalk with your dog and look at at the Chesapeake Bay. There's also a bike and jogging trail. Live music is available May through October on Friday nights at the Farmer's Market held on 5th St and the boardwalk.

Walking around town
The town is very walkable--walk to restaurants on 7th St or 1st St. Walk to St Anthony's, walk to the boardwalk or beach. Or walk to the adjacent town of Chesapeake Beach. But, no taxi service here unfortunately.
