Food Scene

One of Copenhagen’s most famous restaurants for smørrebrød - open-faced sandwiches. They have a restaurant and more deli-kind-of-place. We always go to the deli place. The smørrebrød is excellent.

Funky little restaurant that primarily offers delicous take-out. But they also have a few tables where you can sit and eat. They just have one dish on the menu, which changes everyday. A dish cost usually around 80 DKK

A cosy cafe that makes good coffee and serves good and simple food. If the sun is out, it is an excellent place to hang out on their sidewalk tables. Very popular.

This is another restaurant that serves smørrebrød - open-faced sandwiches. This place serves more classic smørrebrød. If the weather is good, you can sit outside and eat. The restaurant is good, but I prefer Aamanns.

Nice little museum with a large collection of Danish art from the 19th and early 20th century. The emphasis is on the Danish Golden Age, from 1800 to 1850, but also the Skagen Painters and other representatives of the Modern Breakthrough are well represented.
