Eagles Nest is one of several features of the rugged Bunurong Coast that lies between Cape Patterson and Inverloch.
It's a sandstone sea stack that sits on a wide rock platform and is awash at high tide. On the eastern side of Eagles Nest is a 300 metre platform beach that is flanked by 40 metre sandstone cliffs and bluffs.
