All kinds of fun things to do in downtown Manitou - the Arcade is a MUST SEE for everyone (and a cheap day out), hiking is right out my back door on multiple trails and if you're feeling REALLY strong - the Manitou Incline is just 3/4 mile away on the trail above our house
