Great mexican food and margaritas, they open the garage doors on nice days, usually hopping, but still possible to get a seat when you walk in. About a 5 minute walk, and next to some very Portland bars ( the ships ahoy tavern- the best of the dive bars, and C bar( pinball paradise).

This is the most amazing Japanese garden outside of Japan- the fall is especially incredible. Kengo Kuma, a world reknown Japanese architect designed the new additions.

Great playground for the kids- great view for the adults! Have a picnic at the top and look out over all of Portland. Or layout on the grass and get some sun. Lots of short hiking trails too, and a perfect, but challenging, biking loop.
