Ice Castles is built entirely by hand using hundreds of thousands of icicles hand-placed by professional ice artists. The castles include breathtaking LED-lit sculptures, frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, and fountains. About 1 hour and 20 minutes driving from Alton.

Gunstock’s Zipline Tour is a series of 5 zip lines. The first 2 zips are designed for training and adventure, and are located in the Base Area near our Welcome Center. Next you’ll travel to the summit of Gunstock Mountain on the Panorama Summit Chairlift and descend back to the Base Area on a series of 3 zip lines. There are 2 side-by-side lines on each zip, which means you get to travel (or race) alongside another member of your party.
