The Duke of York is one of my favourite bars in Belfast, great atmosphere and sometimes have live music. Quirky outdoor space is a magnet for locals in the summer.

Just a handful of LGBT bars, all located close to each other The Maverick, friendly staff and usually have something on every night – drag show, quizzes etc. Busy on weekends can be quiet during the week, but well worth a visit

Titanic Experience – a two hour tour through Belfast’s shipbuilding history including how the famous ship was built. Not a museum – more an ‘experience’ – can be expensive, but worth a visit.

City Hall, the very centre of Belfast. Indoor guided tours are usually free. There is also self-guided option still possible. There are several exhibition rooms inside telling the story of Belfast and there's a cafe inside as well.
