The Highline is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park and greenway that was converted from an old railroad track. The tracks can still be seen under the now over grown garden and renovations that have been made to make it one of the most beautiful scenic spots of NYC. It is located in the heart of Chelsea where there are great restaurants, shopping (I recommend checking out Chelseas market) and night life in the meatpacking district.
