The Old Cider Mill is a beautifully converted old cider barn set in the wonderfully peaceful monmouthshire countryside. The cottage is a fabulous romantic and tranquil retreat set in one acre of meadow and adjoining spinney. Perfectly situated to explore all the wye valley, and nearby forest of dean, has to offer. This cosy cottage sleeps two guests and has an open plan living area with a woodburning stove. Outside is lovely gravelled courtyard with furniture and off road parking.

You enter the property through a small porch and are instantly met by a large spacious kitchen area which is modern and fully equipped. The living area has a lovely wood burner which gives a glowing warmth to the property in the winter months. Both bedrooms are fitted with TV’s and offer a high level of comfort, and there is also a wet room giving easier access to facilities. Outside, there is a very large garden that is shared with one other property, but there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. There is also an interconnecting door that connects to The Old Granary, perfect for large groups. The property is nestled in the village of Hewelsfield and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. This border territory is marked by stunning scenery and has brooding castles at Chepstow and Raglan. Explore the market towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth, or enjoy excellent walking in the Forest of Dean and along the riverbank. Fishing, horse riding, cycling and canoeing are readily available.
