We invite you to spend a relaxing day on our organic hilltop luxury farm in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. For a day you will get away from the crowds, heat, noise and queues. We will meet at my farm in the middle of the country in the Chianti Classico area. Together we will make handmade pasta, using our herbs from the garden and our own extravergin olive oil. We will also learn how to use different pasta shapes (tagliatelle, ravioli). I’ll teach you how to prepare the pizza dough and how to have many different recipes from this versatile dough. Then i'll teach you how we prepare a chicken dish (as chicken rolle filled with many fresh ingredients). We'll prepare a complete menu including appetizers, pasta, main course, side dishes and dessert and sip our good red wine! My family, my dog, Billo ,and I will guide you in truffle hunting in our beautiful woods in Chianti. Truffle hunting is an ancient tradition in Tuscany, and has only one rule—respect nature. For this reason, it will be necessary to conduct a small briefing before going into the woods, a sacred place for truffle hunters. During the hunt, I will tell you about the truffle, the magic of its traditions, its history, mythology, and uses in the kitchen. You will learn how to recognize and distinguish a good truffle from other fake "truffles" of inferior quality. After the hunt, we will return home for a scheduled lunch or dinner, based on fresh, real truffles and served with our own wine and extra virgin olive oil. We will show you how to clean truffles and prepare typical truffle recipes, such as crostini al tartufo, tagliatelle al tartufo, and more.

I will meet you at one of Florence’s colourful markets and will guide you through it, teaching you how to select the best quality ingredients and pick the freshest vegetables, meats, cheeses & fruits. I will be happy to make you experience the day-life of an artisan, bringing you inside a pottery factory and then discovering the feel of clay manipulating. We first will meet in my shop in Montelupo Fiorentino, opened for 20 years in a historical village known all over the world for its ceramic production. Montelupo is situated precisely in the middle of Pisa and Florence so it is easily reachable by train or by car in about a half-hour from both sides. It is a beautiful village and I hope you will love it as I do! From the shop we will go together to the factory where I will show you the cycle of production of Italian handmade pottery, telling you the history behind and explaining all the techniques. If you want, there is also the possibility to design and purchase something new that will be custom made for you by our artisans! After the factory, it will be your turn! We will go back to the shop where my father will be happy to teach you how to make your pottery piece. Don't worry if you never used a wheel, the course is funny and satisfying for everyone! And as icing on the cake your creation will be fired and shipped to your house, to have a tangible memory of the experience but above all to have a piece of Tuscany at home! After a brief introduction, you will experience first hand the different phases of the antique art of etching: engraving a copper plate, printing on cotton paper and watercoloring the final result. No previous experience in art required as you will be guided through the whole process. During the experience, we will have a break and offer you a soft drink and local patisseries, when we can get to know each other. At the end of your experience you will take home the copper plate etched by you and your print in both black and white and watercolored versions, as a memento of an experience in this wonderful art form, which has captured my heart and I am passing onto you. What We’ll Do: When is possible to organize it, we might start by buying some seasonal ingredients at Sant' Ambrogio local market to use in our culinary experience together. If the group is late or the weather does not help, we will buy the ingredients at the shops in the meeting point square. And of course, a Dark Florence tour can only take place with darkness, so this is an evening tour. The Dark Florence walking tour will touch some of the most famous places of the city, such as Piazza della Signoria and piazza Duomo, but you'll be able to see them from a different point of view: as crime scenes of very cold cases. There admiring the Baptistery (with the golden gate of paradise) the Cathedral and the Bell tower, our eyes will be covered by the magnificence of a precious marble coloured mountain... Brunelleschi’s dome, a renaissance architecture masterpiece, will raise our imagination up to the sky.
