We will meet, do shopping, cook traditional Turkish home food, eat and have great fun together. This experience is not just a cooking class. It is more about exchanging information about our cultures and talking about the social life, culture, religion and politics of us Turks while we cook and eat. It is a 4-hour+ activity. First I will meet you at Osmanbey metro station which is just one station away from Taksim and 20min bus from Eminönü. On the way home, we will shop for some of our ingredients from local sellers. As we arrive at my home, we directly go to the kitchen and begin to cook: - One kind of Main Dish (kuru fasülye or karnıyarık or dolma) - One kind of Rice (bulgur rice) - One kind of Meze or Salad You may have a chance of tasting these dishes somewhere outside but I will also teach you how to cook them. More over it, our whole experience will be a great opportinuty for you to see daily life of Turks. I will provide recipes for you. Also, I will give you all explanations about ingredients, their other uses/applications on different recipes. After we got this main course, we will go back to the kitchen and prepare DESSERT. We will have our dessert of course with Turkish Coffee, and I will show you how to prepare it. Please let me know if you have any allergies or obeying any special diet like vegetarian/vegan.

This experience will change the way you viewed Istanbul, as it brought a sense of familiarity and makes you feel like at home. Having breakfast is a great opportunity to start a day in Besiktas, we start our tour with a local breakfast. We will head to our second spot named Ortakoy by walking through one of the best walking ways in Istanbul. On the way to Ortakoy, Ciragan Palace will be shown from outside by telling traditional wedding rituals and learning late Ottoman architecture. At the end of 20 minutes walk, one of the most iconic landscapes of the city will be watched by the view of Bosphorus Bridge, Ortakoy Mosque and Asian Side. Then we get a local bus to the Arnavutkoy neighborhood which is pointed as one of the coolest 40 neighborhoods in the world by Time Out magazine. Walking through the colorful and modern houses by taking Instagrammable photos, feel the atmosphere that you can't find out visiting the tourist sites of Istanbul. At the end of the tour, we take a ferry from Arnavutkoy pier to Besiktas or a taxi. Transportation type can change according to the ending time of the tour. PS: This tour will be guided by licensed guide Cengiz. Transportation and breakfast are not included to the tour price.

Turkish Cuisine, as a worldwide famous cuisine, has various great foods. As a long-time chef, our mother has expertise on almost all Turkish dishes by bringing her own special way of cooking. Although Dolma, İçli Köfte, Çiğ Köfte, Börek, Mezes, homemade Kumpir, Mantı are personally my favorites, she cooks all Turkish meals better than anyone I ever met at family visits or restaurants :) So, I won't hesitate to brag about my mother's cooking since she is my favorite chef and actually all our guests' and friends' whoever visited us at home. Firstly, you will let us know what meal you are interested to learn how to cook. After that, we will do the necessary preparations and have you over at our family home where you will also be able to meet locals and be guests at our home. Once you come to our home, you will feel like you are learning something from old-time friends. While you learn how to cook the food, you will also learn a lot of things about the food such as how it is cooked in different parts of Turkey. So, come be our guests and friends. You’ll be joining us to some of the most breathtaking views of Istanbul and experience the bosphorus in the most vast way. We will welcome you on our yacht and show you the most historic and pretty sights along the bosphorus. We will start from Bebek and sail towards the south experiencing firstly the Asian side then the European while passing by the biggest historical, natural and architectural landmarks of Istanbul, including the palaces, mosques and famous seafront houses. We will share with you the history of these landmarks. The environment that we created represent our style, cosy, organic, fun and comfortable. We will serve wine, Turkish coffee or tea while listening to some oriental electronic music in the background. Feel free to connect your own music or bring your own drinks and food. We have blankets and a small heater if needed. Please keep in mind that this is a mixed group tour so you will have the opportunity to meet other travelers. Hello, We will meet in Beşiktaş (very central place) and we will drive to Şile with my private car. Şile is about one hour far from Istanbul Center. After arrivel, you will be given all the safety and driving instructions you''ll need. Then we start all together driving our ATVs. I am going to take you off the beaten track. From asphalt and gravel roads to mountain tracks, rocky paths to steep slopes, you will explore forests, deserts and all beaches of Şile. And all surrounded by stunning scenery! I will personally be your tour guide and I will be helping you get the best pictures around the way Other things to note You can ask any question to me. You don't need to have experience for that. Firstly, I will explain to you why Ebru (The Turkish art of paper marbling) is on the world cultural heritage list of UNESCO by telling about its history and importance. After that, I will give you brief information about the tools we will use and show you some demonstrations of different Ebru kinds. After seeing the demonstrations, we will focus on seeing different techniques so that you will be able to create traditional or modern patterns with your creativity. When you create your artwork, we will let them dry and discuss the work while having Turkish tea. In addition to discussing the work, I will show and tell you about the Turkish culture as much as possible so that you will have both a Turkish friend and a Marbling Instructor :)

We will all meet at the Besiktas ferry station. We will take a short walk from the ferry station into the heart of Besiktas District Center. Besiktas is the Mecca of street food districts in Istanbul and you will smell why. We will take you around Besiktas to experience all of the wonderful smells and sites. Your senses will go crazy. We will get to try a little bit of everything from the most delicious and famous kebap places to a seafood stand for mussels, fried mussels, fried calamari, Turkish Kofte(spiced beef patty), Turkish Delights and the best baklava. We will walk all over besiktas. Its a very dense and populated area. We will take in the atmosphere and walk from one food stand to another! Hello Everyone, Don't you have a bicycle? don't worry, I will provide you one:) We will meet at Bosfora Hoteil in Beşiktaş (Address: Nüzhetiye Cad. No:30; Beşiktaş) After I give you one of my quality bikes, then we will go together to Beşiktaş Ferry Station We'll get on boat to go to Princes Islands. From Beşiktaş to Princes Islands lasts about 90 minutes. The best thing with boat tour you will experience is feeding the seagulls on our way to Princes Island :) After arrival, we start then to cycle all around the Island, enjoying the nature on the way, have talk about the island and islands history. Ofcourse, I will show you all the beautiful hidden spots/views of the island. We will take a lot of photos. You will be very amazed with the views. You will feel like you are in paradise. There is a beautiful beach on island. We will stop there and swim on the sea (if it is summer).
