This locally guided boat & walking tour allows you to explore this unique city and cruise around whilst doing so! See the best Ljubljana's spots from the river (boat) ground (walking) and sky (skyscraper) point of view. We will explore some of the greats of Ljubljana's, history, architecture, monuments and sail through the beautiful scenic canal of the river Ljubljanica. We will sail with a beautiful licensed boat of Ljubljana (official boat) which is spacious enough to feel comfortable and safe. The boat is open which will give you the true feeling of being one with the river and its beautiful surroundings, but it can be closed with panoramic windows as it can be cold or a bit rainy this time of year. Blankets are there to keep you comfy and they serve wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee to keep the inner you warm. For the other part of the tour, we'll walk through the beautiful Baroque old town, Art-Nouveau new town, Town Hall, Dragon Bridge, Farmers Market, and of course experience life of the local people. Last but not least, we will visit old skyscraper with its remarkable architecture and enjoy a panoramic view of Ljubljana from above the sky. Yes, I would love to show you my home town. We will meet at the Farmers Market, THE place for local produce and specialties! I always say food is the best way to feel a nation's soul. The diverse and vibrant market tells a story of Slovenian people, culture and traditions and is also very famous for its architecture. Get ready to try different wine, cheese, delicious locally produced meat, traditional soup, seafood (did you know Slovenia has 45 kilometres of coast!) and among other things some sweets too. You'll also learn about typical Slovenian dishes with protected geographical status, like a delicious traditional pastry filled with walnuts. As I'll take you around I'll tell you all about Slovenian cuisine, culture and customs that are very old but still alive today. Discover the fairy-tale land of Bled on a guided day trip and discover rich heritage with Ines. I am a local born and growing up in Slovenia. Traveling enthusiast. When we arrive at Bled we will start at the point where we sit on a pletna traditional boat made by locals which are only known at Bled. Following the boat ride, you get some time to explore the little island and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. The journey will follow the tour on the top of a rock, from where we will enter into the Castle. The Bled Castle offers the finest view of Bled island, the town of Bled and the wider countryside of the Gorenjska region. Soca river, the queen of the Soca Valley hasn’t always been emerald. She has seen blood-shedding wars, diseases, earthquakes and avalanches that have made her stream hazy. She has heard our laughter and saw our tears, but we always remained faithful to her crystal beauty. After shaking hands, we will dedicate the necessary time to safety. After the basic instructions and making life long bonds with your kayak, we will slowly start our journey on the enchanting Soca river. The river has many historical secrets, only accessible to the locals. We will start our quest in a small village called Čezsoča, which hides the tales of stealing the sunshine from the people of Bovec. Following the currents, we will uncover the involvement of Ernest Hemingway in the Soca Front and discover the chronicles of Kanin and Rombon mountains, which are still hiding WWI ammunition, caverns and bullet holes. We will conclude our journey passing the magnificent Boka waterfall and unveil the untold story of the dragon Lantoren, for who some say, is still hiding in the small Boka cave. Explore the 8 km of the river currents and for 3 hours live life as a local. We will say our farewells with free photography, which will help you remember your venture for years to come. Welcome with us to Postojna cave, you will experience amazing system a series of caverns, halls and caves 2 millions old and about 24 km long distance underground. In the entrance you will take electric train it will takes you into a Great Mountain cavern for a distance about 4 kilometers and walkable 2 kilometers around stalagmites and stalactites. Visit will take about 1,5 hour. After we take a drive to Predjama castle wich is world wide famous and it lies on the mouth of cavern half way up a 123 meters high cliff. It is 9 km away from caves and you need a transport. Please contact us before booking, attractions is very visited.

It has a special shape feature of the lake and it is the one of the deepest lakes in Slovenia. We can also take a walk up the hill with the church of St. Ana, where we will see the most beautifull view of Ljubljansko Barje National Park. ▶ Ice Cave hidden in the heart of the Krimean woods, off-road adventure included. ▶Goodies time: tasting of Slovenian goodies and a small meal. We will try a beautiful palette of Slovenian wines, from white to orange to red one. All different in taste, but all brilliant. Stories and history about them will also be involved, so your knowledge will also be satisfied. You will also get the chance to upgrade the experience with chocolate pairing (extra fee applies.) At the trainings we do warmup, stability, running and exercises to improve strength. Example: 7 minutes of running 7 minutes special warming up exercises stability for core, knee, shoulder aprox. 6 exercises to improve strength in the legs and upper body some intervals of running (example: 8 time 300 m) cooling down We can do it on the stadium or going in the natural parks where we run a little more.

According to prior experience, fitness level and conditon of local tracks we'll decide which area and canyon, specific waterfall to visit - almost everything is feasible! We'll meet at previousoy agreed starting point, hike up, take some pictures on the way and enjoy the spectacular view of Soča valley. Depending upon chosen location we might voluntarily check out the pool's temperature under waterfall and then decide whether to dip inside or not! P. S. It's never too cold! ;) While walking there and back we'll debate about local history, famous battles which took place in most savage environment. To finish off the experience in style we'll visit local restaurant, try out some fresh local products and specialties. Perfect combo for body, soul and stomach! :} Other things to note Please let me know if you wear glasses or contact lenses. Not suitable for pregnant women. Swimming is an option but not necessary.

First we'll learn about kayaking history, how and when it all begin. We will first warm up, go through basic kayaking techniques, safety brief and then I'll show you secret spots on Soča river not even some locals know about. Far from the crowds, even in the middle of high season. Passing scenes from the Chronicles of Narnia movie, Boka waterfall, looking for endemic species of fish Soča trout (Salmo marmoratus) two and half hours on river will pass like quarter of an hour! We will take a short break for a quick snack and a swim in one of many emerald pools or just to relax on the shore for a while. Welcome to Soča valley, looking forward to kayaking with you soon! Other things to note This is basic kayaking experience, suitable also for complete beginners, families with kids above 8. Advanced kayakers send a PM and we'll sort some suitable river section out! Ever wanted to sneak into an old workshop when the owner was not in and open all the drawers and touch everything without anyone telling you "don't touch that"? Now you can! Wellcome to Studio tipoRenesansa, the only letterpress printshop in Slovenia, open printing ink, smell it, arrange wooden letters and print beautiful posters that will remind you of Ljubljana forever. You will explore the magic of mixing printing ink and arrange wooden letters into funny Slovene alphabet with only 25 letters (how can this people even communicate?); all this with original equipment ranging from 50 to over a 100 years old. While printing, the master will equip you with stories and anecdotes from the world/history of printing craft. What you print you take home, of course. Don't come dressed in a white T-shirt :-)
