We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky. Other things to note Wear clothing you are comfortable hiking in. Ensure you wear descent pair of hiking/walking shoes. A fair level of fitness is required. You need to be comfortable with heights. Start times vary based on Sunset and Sunrise and it is critical that we start on time in order to witness Sunrise/Sunset

We start out by getting you comfortably onto a horse that is most suitable for you, based on weight and previous experience. If you've never ridden before, we show you the basics you'll need for the ride. We set out on a short walk through the farm to the wildlife sanctuary, where we'll spend the next hour and a bit riding through the reserve to view giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, eland, bontebok, springbuck, & other animals, as well as a variety of birdlife, before the return ride back to the farm. Our horses are a South African breed called a boerperd, known for being gentle, calm and brave. The majority of our horses are ridden bitless. In respect to the wildlife in their environment, we are only allowed to go at a walking pace inside the game reserve.

We will hike to the summit of the iconic Table Mountain and experience why it's one of the New7Wonders of Nature. We will take our favorite more easily missed paths to the top. There are many routes that go up and together we will find one that suits your skill and confidence level. The trails all include a combination of hiking, varied levels scrambling and exposure to heights that will allow us to reach incredible viewpoints of Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay, Back Table, and the Mother City. If you have a specific route in mind we can help you determine if it is suitable for you. The trails we do include India venster, Kasteelspoort, Skeleton gorge, and platteklip gorge but if possible and you are able we can do some more wild options. En route, we will take you into the world of the breathtaking Fynbos Floral Kingdom and the very first occupants of Southern Africa who named the mountain 'Hoerikwaggo' or Mountain in the sea. Once we reach the summit we will go to one of the awesome viewpoints to take some summit photos or just enjoy the view from the top. If the Cable Car Station is open then the hike will finish there, where you can then spend some more time at the top and soak in some more views or go and enjoy a well-deserved treat from the restaurant, my recommendations being their coffee, cold beer, appletiser, and milk tart. Other things to note Experience duration is dependent on the route and guests fitness and should take between 3-5 hours. The experience ends at cable car, if its closed then please add another 1-2 hours for the hike down.

Meet Terry Corr, qualified Marine Conservationist and Sea Kayak guide at our Shark Warrior Adventure Centre at Seaforth beach. You will receive a safety briefing before jumping into our comfortable sea kayaks, and head out into the big blue. Rounding the corner, you will be faced by incredible African Penguins at Boulders Beach. Paddling is easy, at your own pace and we reach the remote Windmill beach, where we spend time in the sun swimming. On our return journey, we head out to Ark rock, if conditions allow it to visit playful cape fur seals. We paddle back to our centre to complete our experience. An awesome adventure that is responsible, the best way to meet the Penguins, learn more about sharks, and the wonderful creatures that inhabit the unique kelp forests. Departing from the iconic V&A Waterfront, heading along the Atlantic coastline with picturesque views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Relaxing on the trampolines or on the padded cushions under covering whilst keeping an eye on the Atlantic waters for a chance to spot some of the incredible marine life that Cape Town has to offer such as Dolphins, Whales, Seals, Penguins and Sun Fish.

We will start our day with a collection at your hotel or at our pick point in Cape Town at approximately 08H40am. Collection will be in a sedan, SUV vehicle or a minibus depending on the size of the group. Upon arrival at the reserve, you will be given a welcome non alcoholic drink, you will then sign the consent form and enjoy a lovely Lunch, which comes in a buffet form. All foods served at the reserve are halal and no pork products are used, full buffet lunch will be served in the main Restaurant with food options which cater for any dietary requirements including vegetarians. Here after, we will get in the truck where we will spend 2.5hrs or 3 hours with game rangers searching for wildlife. Should you require to be just you and your party in the truck alone, kindly speak with one of our consultants about this option as it can be arranged at an additional cost. Hello and welcome! HOSTS: JP, Marina, Haydn, John, Daniela You are about to snorkel the magnificent Great African Seaforest, recently voted one of the SEVEN NATURAL WONDERS OF THE WORLD. There are only 9 kelp forest ecosystems globally & only ONE along the African continent. OVERVIEW: 1. We start with a warm welcome & introduction. Next we will brief you on the snorkel location for the day and answer questions / provide information as to what to expect at the snorkel site. 2. We provide you with ALL gear, including a high-quality wetsuit to keep you snug & warm. 3. We bring a big yellow buoy for safety & for you to hold on to if a little more reassurance is required. THE SNORKEL ADVENTURE: We will be in the ocean (snorkelling) for about 1 hour. We access each location from shore (not a boat) & choose the location with your utmost enjoyment, and safety in mind. We will explore the incredible kelp forest floating/gliding on the ocean surface. The kelp forest is an incredible sight to see and some of the things we may encounter include kelp forest landscapes, schools of fish, sea stars, seals, penguins, small sharks, octopuses & other curious sea creatures. Intentions & Journaling & Cold Immersion Swim Do you feel intrigued by the ocean that surrounds Cape Town? Do you feel called by its cold water? Come join me for an early experience of the morning sun and sea breeze, on the beach of Llandudno. I will guide you to reconnect to your inner world through the cold water as your muse. We set intentions for our swim in order to focus on who we are in the moment, to live our values, and to raise our emotional energies. We will then journal for a few minutes on the intentions set, before we prepare ourselves for our cold swim. At the end, you will have a daily practice that you can easily apply in your daily life (cold shower, ice bathing...) as a source of inspiration and self reflection. Photojournalist Trevor Samson shows you how to improve your cellphone photography. Learn ways to make the ordinary look more interesting in his workshop conducted on a walking tour of Kalk Bay, the historic fishing village on False Bay. At the end, Trevor sits with you to review your images, observing what worked well and what didn't. People learn more about their cellphone cameras than they thought possible.
