Coasteering Adventure Margaret River
Our company, Margaret River Adventure Co, is the ONLY coasteering experience in Australia! Coasteering is a blend of rock-hopping, shore-scrambling, swell-riding, and rock jumping for the ultimate aquatic adventure. You’ll discover wildlife and beautiful scenery too!
In 2021 we were awarded the Most Magical Experience in Australia by Airbnb.
We’ll meet at the amazing Ngari Marine Park in Margaret River where you’ll get fully kitted out in a steamer wetsuit, buoyancy vest, wetsuit booties and a helmet. We'll have a safety briefing, an introduction to all your provided kit.
Based on your ability, we’ll get in the water and scramble and jump around the rocks as the current surges and ebbs, making our way across the natural canal to where very few people get to on the other side of the granite rocks. Depending on the season, you’ll be able to see whales frolicking right out front, or sea lions basking on the rocks.
Coasteering is suitable for all levels of adventure – I’ll cater the experience especially for you based on your requirements. My goal is to make it safe and fun for you.
Wine and Adventure Tour hosted by Sean
It’s the wine and nature lovers’ experience with the works!

• Our next stop is an ancient waterhole to spot freshwater Marron and wildlife and to taste local honey while we reflect on Aboriginal history dating back more than 30,000 years.
• Lunch at one the region’s most celebrated emerging superstar wineries –Fraser Gallop Estate – is our next highlight. We have exclusive access to the working winery and vineyard and savour some of the best wines in the region matched with local produce while seated among barrels of ageing wine.

You’ll have a brief practice session at beautiful Boranup lookout. We'll then head off into the forest and explore the towering Karri trees up close on forest trails. You may see emus, kangaroos and parrots in the forest. You’ll then exit the forest onto the coastal dunes and heath before reaching the Indian Ocean and the spectacular view at Contos beach cliffs. From photos to prints-Printmaking workshop in Margaret River
Bring your photo with you at the studio and we'll generate an original print out of it!
Through different traditional and experimental processes we will translate a photo or two from your journey to a cool print printed on cotton paper like back in the old days.
We will also explore the screen printing method and print on fabric or cotton paper. This will give us an idea about the spectrum of options that the print making techniques can offer today.
It’s a good way to focus on quality outcomes and push the artistic boundaries.
You will leave with knowledge on how to continue this practice in your own home with little equipment.

Margaret River Wild Food Canoe Tour
In 1990, I opened Bushtucker Canoe Tours on the Margaret River and guided
all tours, having a passion for Native Australian and natural history, I discovered medicinal plants native to the river and coast. Using these plants and natural bush foods, I concocted 25 interesting gourmet foods for the traveller to experience. The river and cliffs provide a natural adventure path as travellers follow me and my specialist guides through wildflowers, crystal waters and the huge Wallcliffe House! Native Australian heritage and forested islands reveal unique Australian flora and fauna. The pioneer hardships and native foods, plus Native Australian bush remedies are demonstrated against the backdrop of magnificent Wallcliffe House, 1828-1862. You will get to taste unique food and have an awesome experience on the Margaret River canoeing, swimming and learning about the area. A great ay out for all ages and abilities !!

Chestnut Experience
Visitors will experience the uniqueness of a sweet chestnut farm.
We provide a tour of the orchard and then the processing unit. The only one of its type in Australia.
Chestnut Brae was originally both a chestnut and daffodil farm, now only the chestnuts are farmed, but the abundant daffodils planted between the rows of chestnut trees means the orchards are stunning in Spring when the daffodils are flowering, ablaze with abundance and colour in Autumn, picturesque in Winter and a cool European forest of trees in Summer.
Located just 40 minutes from the Busselton Margaret River Airport on the Blackwood River Valley Farm Trail, Chestnut Brae is 15 minutes south of Nannup (off Vasse Highway and Chalwell Road) and 55 minutes inland from Margaret River. Chestnut Brae’s rolling hills, pastures, permanent flowing springs and mature chestnut forests give a feeling of being in Europe as you arrive at the farm. Wiltshire sheep are our lawn mowers that roam and forage through the orchards keeping suckers trimmed and the grass down. Cheeky Guinea Fowl busily fossick keeping insects under control across the farm. Heritage pigs root and snuffle happily turning our soil over, adding to the soul satisfying peacefulness of Chestnut Brae.

Rare plants include Bunya Bunya Pine, Japaneses Cedar and a range of salvias. Deciduous trees are a blaze of colour in autumn when Liquidamber, Japaneses Maple and Golden Ash, Claret Ash and ornamental pear and plum compete with the chestnut orchards in their display.
The tour takes visitors on a journey around the terraced garden which seven years ago, the owners, John (a qualified horticulturist) and Linda restored to its former glory.
They are now proud to share the garden and all its beauty with you.
