Let's get you ready for a day filled with awes and ahs! Your adventure starts the minute I pick you up at your front door downtown Calgary, Canmore, or Banff! You'll see wildlife, spectacular sites, hear fun stories, learn a bit of history, and maybe play a game or two. By the end of the day our group will feel like family! Not only are you going to visit all the main sites including Kananaskis on the way to Banff, Lake Minnewanka, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake (summer months) but in addition you will visit many great hidden spots with million dollar views that avoid crowds! We'll figure out the group's dynamic of who wants to do what or where, so we can get it done! If you like to hike, stroll along one of the beautiful lakes, sit down and relax, take postcard worthy photos, look for wildlife or do it all; it's possible! I will adapt and adjust our stops according to traffic, weather, best times to see a place, etc. This experience is about wowing you all day! This is not a touch & go tour, you'll have time to experience Banff! And if you like; I'll be your personal photographer. So make sure to bring your phone chargers, the average person goes home with more than 100 photos! This experience last between 8-10 hours depending where you are being picked up and dropped off. No experience is required to create a beautiful oil painting in 2 hours. Beginners are welcome...no experience required...just the desire to paint and have a great time! At each Landscape Bob Ross Oil Painting Class® you will be seated and paint along with me in a step-by-step manner. You will learn how to prepare the canvas with a painting medium and the use of brushes/knives with Bob Ross oil paints using the wet-on-wet oil painting technique® as seen in The Joy Of Painting®with Bob Ross. We do not use paint thinner during the class, instead we use paper towels, which I supply, to wipe the brushes. The use of all Bob Ross supplies are included and you get to keep the painting you’ve created as well as receive a certificate for having taken part in a Bob Ross Style Experience® Other things to note: I provide a flat box to carry your painting back home since it takes about a week to dry. I have a friendly dog who is in the house but is not allowed in the studio which is near the entrance.

We start our experience at the Bottlescrew Bill's Pub & Brewery. We'll get acquainted and enjoy a flight of 4 x 4oz tasters of their top-notch beer. You'll meet, get settled and learn about the brewery, the brewing process, and some interesting Beer-Factoids. After a "cheers" you hit the streets and discover a hidden gem of Calgary! Through some twists and turns, you'll experience the perfect route to the best Street Art that Calgary has to offer. This place is hopping, in the heart of The Red Mile, and with quality beers it's a must when visiting Calgary. You'll enjoy a variety flight of 5 x 4oz tasters of their tasty beer, while taking in the energy of 17th Avenue, one of Calgary's most lively streets. Next, we'll get back outside and finish off the tour with another set of incredible murals from artist's like: Faith XLVII, Ola Volo, AlfAlfA, Labrona, and many more! We'll end our tour at a graffiti jam with a terrific view that's a short distance from an array of terrific night life options. This 3-hour city and bow river cycle tour will take you through the bike-friendly city streets of Calgary and right beside the crown jewel of Calgary: The Bow River.  Starting at the Sandman's Signature Downtown Hotel we'll see wonderful sights at Poppy Plaza, and the Peace Bridge, an architectural delight. Then through Prince's Island Park, a summer delight in Calgary, with nature and city-life beautiful combined to create an aesthetically peaceful place to enjoy. We'll pop over to Chinatown and then see the neighborhood of Inglewood! Both bustling and unique with culture and history! Your expert local guide will captivate your imagination with fun and informative stories. We'll get the best city views on St. Patrick Island Park and Scotsman's Hill, then we'll get into the city and see Calgary's Beltline which includes the hip 12th Avenue, and The Red Mile - Calgary's most energetic street of 17th Avenue. We'll end the tour by biking through downtown to get you back to where we started and you'll leave knowing that you've seen it all. We start this experience in the heart of downtown on Stephen Ave. We'll take 10 minutes to practice on the scooters and become comfortable before we start our cruise through the city! We'll see Olympic Plaza, the incredible architecture of Central Library, the new and renovated East Village, the Bow River, The Wheel of Women, The Family of Man, Wonderland Sculpture, incredible Murals, Vienna on the Bow, The Palliser, and Central Memorial Park. I'll take time for pictures and videos throughout. I'm not a professional but I have a background in Film, and can provide a few video shorts to post to your social media accounts of your tremendous travels in Calgary. Throughout the experience you'll hear engaging and fun stories of Calgary's past and present and truly get a sense of Calgary's culture and lifestyle. We look forward to meeting you!

Join me on a day of fun and adventure in the Canadian Rockies in Banff National Park. It will be a day filled with memorable experiences, relaxing car ride and hidden gems. It is my goal to take care of you and give you an experience you won't forget. We will begin our day when I pick you up from Calgary at 8am and start our drive towards the mountains. No need to worry, I am flexible with my pickup location as Calgary is an easy city to navigate and has a great transit system. Reaching the Rockies will take about 1.5 hours and we can expect to enter the National Park at around 9:30 am. There will be lots of opportunities along the journey to stop and take pictures and breaks to soak in the scenery. I will take you on an adventure tour while visiting iconic spots with hidden gems off the beaten path trails known only to locals. This will give you a chance to have an unique perspective to an otherwise busy scenery away from tourist. Our day out will last 8-10 hours so bring lots of energy. On the way back to Calgary, you can relax in the car and take a 2 hour nap. Some of the key highlights of the tour will include: - Iconic view of Cascade Mountain - Open vistas with views of Mount Rundle - Winter Canyon walk - Lake Louise Join me for a day of adventure, relaxation, and photography, and discover why Banff National Park is a must-see destination for any nature lover.

Come out to our farm, visit with all our friendly barn yard animals and then visit with the stars - our alpacas! Our alpaca herd is friendly and sweet. You will be able to feed them snacks, listen to their hums and then take them for a walk around the property. We also have horses, sheep, ducks, chickens and pigs. All our animals are friendly and can be pet/picked up and loved.

Let's go Saskatoon berry picking in Nose Hill Park! Saskatoon berries are perfectly ripe for picking from late July through mid-late August. There are several great Saskatoon berry picking locations in Nose Hill Park, but you have to know where to look! Let me show you how to find wild Saskatoon plants right here in the City! Bring your appetite as we will sample the berries along the way, and definitely bring a container to bring your picked berries home with you! Ripe Saskatoon berries are perfect for eating right off the bush, and they also make amazing jam and pies. This Experience is pet and family friendly.

Join me in a short one day trip as we travel to the mountains. I will pick you up from downtown Calgary Tower at 9am sharp. As we head to the mountains in 1.5 hours we can enjoy some good music, chat and look at beautiful mountains on the way. The day trip will consist of stopping at both Canmore, Banff and other small spots to accommodate needs. We will sightsee some of the most beautiful places in all of Canada. A few examples are Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka Scenic drive, Bow falls, downtown Banff, Johnston canyon, Hoodos lookout etc. I will also make stops at some scenic coffee shops and at a nice restaurant for lunch. If you only have a day and want to make the most of it, here is your chance to explore the mountains on a budget.

Guests will meet the Host at a central location. This may or may not be at the foraging location. If needed the Host will shuttle guests to the foraged location. Each guest will be outfitted with the proper mushroom foraging tools and given a detailed explanation of what each piece of equipment is used for and how it is to be used. Guests will learn how to identify and recognize a few different species of wild mushrooms and have hands on experience learning about mycology and how to forage for wild mushrooms. Since there are thousands of species of mushrooms and fungi, only safe and edible mushrooms will be collected and learned about during this experience. Guests will spend 60-90min on a guided forage walking through mixed terrain in search of wild mushrooms. Once the experience is finished, the group will ensure we "leave no trace" and return back to the rendezvous where guests can provide feedback and be given the opportunity to purchase dried mushrooms previously foraged locally. (Mushroom Hunting is a very seasonal and temperamental activity, guests should be aware there is a small chance that fresh edible mushrooms may not be discovered during their experience however the Host guarantees that wild edible mushrooms will be integrated into the whole experience as well as a fulfilling learning experience!) Other things to note The guide will provide resources to help identify common edible mushrooms via literature and photos. There's a chance that not every foraging experience will result in edible mushrooms but be prepared to have a full day of learning and experiencing the outdoors!

Why go out for dinner when you have a certified Journeyman Red Seal chef living right downstairs? Your host has been a chef for over 30 years and will prepare a delicious meal for you. Or be part of the action, and act as sous chef for the evening; learning a few tricks of the trade in our stunning professionally inspired home kitchen. Meal plan will be discussed prior to your stay. Afterwards, enjoy your delicious and thoughtfully prepared meal, either indoors or out on the large backyard deck.

Let's meet at the Yurt for some gentle Yoga For a 90 min restorative Yoga class or Yang/Yin Vinyasa if requested. This can be a hands on - receiving healing touch or hands off practice. Please wear comfortable clothing. Sweatpants encouraged. Reconnect to your body through your breath and your senses. I will guide you through a body scan/ meditation and close our time together with a little gratitude ceremony.
