Nearest Georgetown Lake beach access to your stay. Free access to lake, swimming & trails. Beautiful views & local favorite. This spot was one of Georgetown's hidden gems prior to COVID. Although it may be more busy now, it is still worth checking out. For less crowds go in the morning or at sunset. Access closes once dark. Public bathrooms and trail heads can be found here. During warm days, depending on the lake's water level this is an awesome spot to hangout on the limestone rocks and swim or catch a sunset. When in season you can forage dewberries in the fields. I enjoy doing yoga here in the mornings before crowds arrive.
