The museum’s new Screens Series shows films by internationally acclaimed filmmakers like Apichatpong Weerasethakul and one of my favorites, indie director Abel Ferrara. There’s also a great calendar of film symposia and discussions with an eye on how cinema fits into the world of visual art, which is very inspiring. General admission is $18 or $12 for students. On Thursdays between 7 pm and 9 pm, you can pay what you wish. The suggested minimum is $2.
