Makes for a very interesting visit. Not the most uplifting of places given its history, but still worth a visit.

“Visit the world famous Titanic Exhibition centre in Belfast which is a 1 hour 15 min journey by car. Book the fantastic tour and then enjoy a walk along the waters edge to the nearby SSE arena and Odyssey Pavillion where there are great restaurants, a cinema and bowling - a great family day out.”

“Great atmosphere and traditional music, head here before or after Mourne Seafood Bar which is right next door. This is one of the oldest pubs in Belfast (opened in 1720!) and was a meeting place of the United Irishmen planning the Rebellion of 1798”

“An interesting church of Ireland cathedral in what is known now as the Cathedral Quarter. This area is full of quirky little eateries and pubs with entertainment and a firm favourite with younger folk. New buildings for student accommodation are almost completed now as the university of Ulster campus relocates to this part of the city. I believe admission to the cathedral is charged.”
